Late last month, electronic music auteur deadmau5 returned with “hyperlandia,” a low-lit, slow-burning single featuring pop experimenters Foster the People. Like a lot of deadmau5’s most moving tracks, it’s an intricate and thoughtful mix of dizzying synth melodies and anthemic vocals.

“hyperlandia” at its core is a yearning track, searching for the sublime in romantic melodies and neon electronics. Lamorn, a multi-instrumentalist and producer, brings a playful vibe to the track with groove-fused synths and punchy beats. “I’ve been a fan of Foster the People and deadmau5 for a large chunk of my life at this point, so it blows me away that I got to make this remix,” shares Lamorn. “It’s the remix of my life.”
