The Australian edition of Ultra Music Festival has announced its first four acts for 2019, ahead of its first-ever full-scale Aussie events.

Ultra Music Festival will hit Melbourne and Sydney in February 2019, and will feature sets from the likes of dance mainstays The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, Martin Garrix and Adam Beyer.

While the festival’s Phase 1 lineup contains only these four acts, “many more” acts are still to be announced, organisers say.

Ultra will be making its major Australian debut in 2019, after making its minor debut with its ‘Road To Ultra’ event in Melbourne back in February.

The full, multi-stage version of the festival will take place in Melbourne on Saturday 23rd February and Sydney on Sunday, 24th February 2019.

“After the thrilling debut of Road to Ultra in Melbourne this year, we are beyond excited to welcome the full scale Ultra experience to both Melbourne and Sydney in February 2019 for Ultra Australia,” Ultra organisers said.

“Showcasing ‘Ultra Australia’ at two of the nation’s premiere venues in Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne and Parramatta Park, Sydney, we are also excited to announce this amazing Phase 1 lineup and we are counting down the days ’til summer.”

With its growth into a full-scale festival, Ultra Australia proudly announces the addition of new stages, in addition to its iconic Main Stage, including the immersive, techno-heavy Resistance stage, led by Adam Beyer.
